We are a community of language advocates who care deeply about the cultural, economic, and social benefits of language learning. We recognise that change is needed at Cardiff University. However, we are unwavering in our commitment to ensuring that the teaching of Modern Languages and Translation Studies remain an offer to students who come to Cardiff University – there is no ‘global’ university without languages.
